  20. So I thought I'd mention that I successfully compiled
  21.     web2c-6.1
  22.     dvipsk-5.55a
  23.     xdvik-1.8
  24. on an
  25.     Intel 486
  26. machine running
  27.     Interactive Unix 4.0.1 (a.k.a. ISC)
  28. using the
  29.     GCC 2.5.8
  30. compiler with the
  31.     -O2
  32. optimisation flags.

  34. I haven't been using very much yet, but so far everything seems to
  35. have worked fine.  I could run "configure" without any special
  36. settings.  (Except that I put a definition of CC in the environment to
  37. get the -O2 flag in there).
